Adversity and strife can repel you in one direction or another

 

After having her first cancer scare in 2015, Kendall Carriere’s life direction has changed. She’s been a fitness and wellness instructor for years before recently delving into the beauty industry expanding her advocacy of healthy beauty products for Beauty Counter.

 

In today’s episode, she shares how much she has changed since 2015; in her lifestyle and how she views things in her surroundings. On how she enters the beauty industry carrying what she’s learned from the nutrition industry.

 

She mainly tackles beauty products, highlighting the thought of going to the right and beneficial beauty products and avoiding harmful beauty products that we thought are right for us.

About Our Guest:

Kendall Carriere began her career in exercise in 2007 as a certified group fitness trainer and yoga instructor. Originally from South Carolina, Kendall attended the College of Charleston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Nutrition. After Graduation, Kendall started a career in the beauty industry and moved all over the country. Ultimately, her work brought her to New Orleans where she is here to stay. Her passion for wellness took Kendall back to school where she attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Upon graduating, Kendall opened a practice in nutrition coaching.
