Clean & Green Living

Today’s episode is with Ann Saks from FETCH Eyewear. You may know Ann from her designer tile business with retail and wholesale operations globally. But today, we are talking about Ann’s newest business, Fetch Eyewear, and her passion to alleviate the suffering of animals.

FETCH eyewear was born from Ann’s desire to find affordable and stylish reading glasses.  Her journey into the eyewear business began when she lost an expensive pair of reading glasses just days after buying them. Finding very few options to replace them, Ann saw an opportunity, and true to her entrepreneurial spirit, she took it.

Early on in creating FETCH, Ann decided to endow a family foundation to benefit animal rescue and to use FETCH to create an ongoing source of revenue for that foundation. Fetch donates 100% of the net proceeds from your purchase to support animal welfare through rescue, veterinary care, low-cost spay and neuter, and education in partnership with The Pixie Project.

Today, Ann and I are talking about her many years of working as an entrepreneur, her passion for animals, how she is innovating at FETCH to continue the work of her foundation, and the importance of following your passion to make a change.

About Ann Saks

Fetch founder Ann Sacks began the journey with the Fetch concept when she lost an expensive pair of reading glasses just days after buying them. Not one to be disappointed twice, she set out to find a better way. On this journey, she decided that she could design glasses for optical use as well as suns, sun readers, and prescription suns and deliver them at a fair price while supporting animal rescue through The Pixie Project.
